Our first foreign subsidiary, Sandler Nonwoven Corporation in Perry, GA – established in 2016 - created a direct point of entry into the North American market.
Sandler nonwovens are used in over 50 car models worldwide, providing a quit, pleasant drive as interior and exterior absorbers, carrier materials for moulded parts and seat upholstery. These lightweight, high-performance materials are ideal for narrow installation spaces and available with hydrophobic and oleophobic properties.
Sandler filter media are applied in HVAC applications, air & fuel filtration in vehicles and synthetic vacuum cleaner bags. Self-supporting filter media are suitable for all common pleating technologies. Synthetic pocket filter media feature a low pressure drop are shedding-free and bacteriostatic.
Heat and sound insulating nonwovens commend themselves to various applications from the floor to the roof. In office design and interior acoustics they provide for a quiet working atmosphere and good conversational acoustics.

sawasorb® advanced - absorber for the transportation industry
For the transportation industry, Sandler AG produces a broad range of lightweight absorber nonwovens which today cover almost all applications for acoustically efficient parts in the interior of vehicles. They can reduce engine and driving noise so that the car glides along quietly and the passengers can hold conversations at a normal volume—even at high speeds.

Office partitions made from Sandler nonwovens not only ensure pleasant acoustics, but also offer possibilities for individual space configuration—in the relaxation space as well as in the meeting area. In open-plan offices or factory buildings, the targeted use of suspended ceilings or textile wall coverings made from nonwovens can reduce the noise level considerably. Surface-finished with printed or embossed motifs or laminated with different materials create individual designs.
