The focus of the company lies in computer aided engineering (CAE) development and support in the area of textiles and composites and the training of specialists for this field.
Speciality of the company is the “3D” – the development of complex algorithms and software for the three dimensional presentation of the textile structures, such as braided, warp and weft knitted, woven and other special combinations.

"Texmind Braider" is a CAD-Software for colour and structural design of tubular and flat braids. The structures can be saved as high resolution pictures or in formats for 3-D printing, FEM- and CFD-calculations.
"Braiding Machine Configurator" is a powerful tool for creative developers of new machines and structures. Its latest version for computer controlled braiding machines is the worldwide first one, which allows development of complex braiding programs of modern braiding machines with variable tracks.
"TexMind Warp Knitting Pattern Editor" allows quick editing of patterns for warp knitting machines, their visualisation and evaluation of their properties.
TexMind Braider generates a 3-D-models of tubular and flat braided structures. Considered are the braiding angle, yarn properties as twist, colour and effective diameter, structure (pattern) type, braid diameter.
The software allow export in more than 10 formats for visualisation, FEM or CFD simulation, inclusion in CAD models and other type of engineering calculations.

Its latest edition for computer controlled braiding machines is the worldwide first one software package, which allows development of complex braiding programs of modern braiding machines with variable tracks and thus speeds up the development of sophisticated braided products for composites or medical applications.
Warp knitting pattern editor
"TexMind Warp Knitting Pattern Editor" allows quick editing of pattern for warp knitting machines and their 2D and 3D visualisation. Calculation of the theoretical run-in and specific weight is performed automatically. Export to machine files for the cooperating machinery producers are implemented.
Texmind released in January 2018 its newest product "Texmind Computer Controlled Braiding Machine Configurator".
This software is the worldwide first commercially available CAD system, which allow the conceptual design of maypole braiding machines with computer controlled switches for any size and configuration of the horn gears.
With the software the motion of the carriers is simulated and each change of the switch states is recorded and can be used for programming of the machine control. The idealized virtual product can be analysed as 3D object and the carrier motion can be used for more precise FEM simulation of the complete braiding process.
The program simplifies significantly the creation of bifurcated braided profiles or other complex forms for medical, composites, automotive, aerospace and other applications.
