High-Tex from Germany 2012
12 - 14 March 2012
Moscow, Russia
Following successful appearances in Shanghai, Atlanta
and Mumbai, the High-Tex from Germany
event is now set to open in Moscow this year. A total of 56 companies and
research establishments will have the opportunity to present themselves to a
large circle of international decision makers from 12 to 14 March 2012.
The range of exhibitors extends from manufacturers of technical textiles
and textile machines to textile research institutes and educational
establishments. The High-Tex from Germany
therefore represents a successful blend of expertise and research to raise the
profile of German companies and products on the Russian market. The growing
German textiles and textile machinery industry is presenting itself in Moscow
as an innovative sector of the dynamic German economy.
Many of the exhibitors at the High-Tex from Germany are successful small
and medium-sized companies - the heart of the German economy. With their
innovative products and developments these companies wish to present themselves
on the international markets and establish new partnerships. SMEs require
particular support in the growth countries that are not directly on our
doorstep. For years now the BMWi has consequently
been aiding these companies in developing new foreign markets.
Foreign trade fairs are particularly well suited for
this initial market entry. Trade fairs are some of the most effective export
marketing instruments available and are key platforms for contact and
orientation. This year the BMWi is co-operating with German industry's
Ausstellungs- und Messe-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. (AUMA) exhibition
and trade fair body at approximately 260 foreign trade fairs, including 52 in
Russia. 90 percent of the beneficiaries of these are small and medium-sized
companies who would scarcely be able to afford a presence at foreign fairs
without this support.
The participants enjoy comprehensive benefits from
this programme. A turnkey stand is provided that enables the companies to
present themselves under the "Made in Germany" umbrella. In addition,
all participants also receive assistance in the planning and implementation of
their presentation. As a consequence, the exhibitors participating in High-Tex from Germany will also undergo
a seminar that carefully prepares them for the opportunities, risks and
particular aspects of the Russian market. The organisers of the special events
are experienced fair organisers and experts in the relevant sectors, qualifying
them for this task. The BMWi has therefore commissioned the Messe Frankfurt
with the organisation of the High-Tex
from Germany, as the leading company in the field of textile fairs.
I wish to thank the AUMA and the Confederation of the
German Textile and Fashion Industry for their positive collaboration. I would
also like to wish the High-Tex from
Germany a successful appearance in Moscow and hope for many new impressions
and business contacts for all exhibitors and participants involved.
